PJ and I continued our work in his school workbook. Today we mainly focused on writing exercises. I could tell PJ was not too thrilled about practicing writing. I am hoping to find a way to spark his interest in writing, but the exercises in the workbook can be limiting. We practiced several other exercises that included "which" and "where" activities, idiom practice, and vocabulary review. I've noticed that PJ is often quick to respond with an answer before thinking about which option would be best. I want to show PJ the importance of fully reading and comprehending the question/content before selecting the answer. This can definitely be improved with more practice together! My favorite activity we did was the idiom practice. It was cool to see PJ make the connection between certain idioms and their meanings. I quizzed him multiple times to make sure he was grasping them as well. I look forward to this upcoming week :)
